A beautifully illustrated picture book will be the reference for related creative arts activities in our interdisciplinary workshop that includes literature and related process art, with music and movement to fill the 45 minutes.
Caregivers are welcome to stay onsite.

Creative Arts Sampler 1
K-2nd
Our original signature interdisciplinary workshop explores a variety of creative areas with a central story and a themed process art project. We may fill our time each week with additional art projects or stories, creative writing, music, and/or movement.
Winter and Spring 1 sessions will explore Kids Around the World!
Each session ends with a showcase to display students' work.

2nd-4th
Sampler 2 explores the elements of art & principles of design using a variety of materials and techniques. Time may be filled with related stories and/or creative writing.

Creative Arts Sampler 3
3rd-7th
In our Sampler 3 class for 3rd-6th grade a specific activity may focus on a certain area or experiment with multiple materials & techniques at once. We will take suggestions from students about projects or materials to explore, and we may even gain inspiration from current art trends!
(While we may gain inspiration from social media trends, we will not view videos in class without first checking them for age-appropriate content).
The session ends with a showcase to display students' work.

Musical Theater Revue
1st-5th
This class for 1st-5th grade is filled with music, art, and dance as we explore favorite songs from movies, musicals, and more!
Students will explore vocal performance techniques and dance choreography as they sing along with favorite songs and create simple sets & props for a final end-of-session showcase.
This is not a full musical theater production class. Students will sing & perform numbers from a variety of sources in a single show as they are exposed to different elements of performance.
Perfect for the student who loves to sing & dance, this is a great introduction to musical theater and performance in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Acting for YoungStars 2.0
K-5th grade
"Acting For YoungStars 2.0"
-An enhanced experience that adds set design and production elements to the original theater program filled with theatre games, improv, and scene creation activities that help students shine on stage while building confidence & teamwork, and developing speaking & presentation skills.
There will be an end-of-session showcase!
Fees include all materials for sets, props, & costumes plus a full-color program!

Improv Add-On
K-5th grade
This optional Improv Add-On to the Acting For YoungStars 2.0 class gives students additional opportunities to learn and practice improv acting skills through group games and interactions designed to teach creativity and build confidence.
This option is open to students who are already registered for the
Acting For YoungStars 2.0 class.
Offered as an option based on interest and availability of those who are registered for the current session of Acting For YoungStars 2.0.
Improv For Tweens & Teens
5th-8th grade
Explore techniques of improv through the use of theater games and strategies that teach teamwork, encourage thinking on your feet, build confidence, and improve stage presence in this fun, interactive class for tweens & teens.
