Is my party deposit non-refundable?

Your $100 deposit secures your party date and is non-refundable. -However, if you were to cancel your party after paying the deposit then the full amount would be placed in your account as a credit for anyone in your family to use towards any future Total Arts event, class, or party. - If you do not use the credit within a year we will transfer it to our scholarship fund.

Can I pay to extend the time of the party package I chose?

Unfortunately, no. -We find that for most parties 1.5 hours is just the right amount of time to get through every element of the celebration (2.0 hours for a select few activity options). -Down time often leads to activities or behaviors that are not suitable for our setting. We are primarily an art studio, not a play space. - After having run over 150 parties & events in our current space we are confident in the time frames we have set up for each activity package.

Do you only offer parties on Saturdays and Sundays?

Yes and no. -We only list available week-end dates but we can sometimes accommodate week-day parties depending on our schedule. -Feel free to reach out if you want to hold a party during the week to see if we can make it happen.

My child is neurodivergent. Are you a good party option for us?

In most cases, yes! -We have successfully hosted parties for children and party guests who are neurodivergent -We do realize that each child is unique and we appreciate your concerns. -If you call and talk to us before booking a party we can help determine if we are able to properly support your child's needs and/or the needs of their party guests.

Can parents stay onsite during the party?

In most cases, yes! -We have an additional space for adults and non-participating siblings to wait during the main activity. The maximum number of people we can have onsite is approximately 40 (guests, siblings, adults). -If you are hosting a large party (18-20 guests) you will need to keep that in mind as you consider who might stay onsite for the event.

When is my full party balance due?

The remaining balance, based on your final headcount, is due the day before the party no later than 6:00 PM. Contact us about payment options if you are planning to pay the balance due in cash.

How far in advance should I book a party?

We often book parties 2-3 months in advance although you may find we have a last minute open date available. -You can find a list of available dates on the Party Request Form, but the most up-to-date list is found in your Total Arts account under the Birthday Deposits tab in the Store.

My child is turning 5, do we have to choose a 2-5 y/o Party?

Good question! -If most of the party guests will be under 5 then the "Turning 2-5 Years" party is the correct option to provide age-appropriate activities. -If most of the guests will be 5 & up then you may choose a package for ages 5 & up

Who is included in the party guest headcount?

The headcount for party guests includes all children who will be participating in the main party activity, including the birthday child.​ -The headcount does NOT include adults or non-participating siblings who stay onsite but do not participate.
